McManus Family Sneak Peek

Last October, I met the McManus family for the first time at our family photo session. The fun thing about the McManus family is that there are SIX of them, two are twins and Mom is the only girl! Don’t get me wrong, I like photographing girls, but I really enjoy boys… and that sounds bad! HA! Well you guys know what I mean. I have two boys, so I’m a little more at home with boys. Anyways last Sunday we did another family session, and I won’t say that it was an easy session. It was challenging since I am not near as fast as the boys are. I will say that I got a good workout though and had many a good laugh. With the four young boys, I break the session up into little periods of play and pose. This way, they won’t get overwhelmed with pictures. I want them to enjoy the time they spend with me… not dread it. Well, during one of our little pose periods, I was trying to get all six subjects to look at the camera… challenging to say the least. I whistled and hooted and hollered and there was always something pulling ones attention in another direction. So… as a final resort, I yelled, “Hey! Do I have a booger in my nose?” and SNAP… got it! Lily Grace Collins’ Newborn Session – Columbus, GA Newborn Photographer

Wednesday, I shot a newborn session for one of my oldest and dearest friends, Krissy, her husband Grant and their precious new addition, Lily. I LOVED this session. It was so comfortable and laid back, I got to spend time with one of my best friends, Grant helped me make complete sentences in English, and Lily was an absolute doll! She did great. She stayed awake the whole time, but she’s so adorable it didn’t matter. I can’t wait to get the rest of these edited. Krissy and Grant, thank you so much for letting me capture this special time! Christy’s Bridal Session

No, I am not taking weddings again, but I do have two weddings to complete that I had already booked before I decided to drop the wedding gig. One of the two weddings is the union of two of our best friends, Brandon and Christy. I had the choice of being in the wedding or taking the pictures, and well I guess I have already stated which one I chose to do. This past Saturday, I shot Christy’s bridal session at Callaway Gardens. I actually had the honor of doing her makeup too! Bridal makeup… that was a first for me. I must say that Christy was absolutely stunning! She looked perfect, and I know she will be even more beautiful on November 7th because she will be glowing with wedding day bliss. I’m not quite sure what kind of spell or potion Brandon used on Christy to convince her to be his wife, but I think he is getting a pretty good deal! Christy really is a gorgeous bride, and I can’t wait to reveal the images we shot. Below is a sneak peak from our session.

EW’s Newborn Session – Columbus, GA Newborn Photographer

NW and JW were referred to me by our friends HP and KP (Thanks you guys!), and I really enjoyed meeting them and getting to know them a little bit. Every once in a while I will find a couple or a family that I click with better than the rest, and this was one of those times. The W’s have a sweet little 6 week old, EW. He is absolutely precious. He stayed awake the entire session and did not hardly make a peep! I don’t think I have ever had a newborn session that was so easy with a baby that was awake. Durhams Beach Pictures – Columbus, GA Family Portrait Photographer – Panama City Beach

This past weekend, we went to Panama City Beach to take some pictures of our good friends, Bo and Kimberly Durham, and their two sweeties, Bennett and Jillian. A couple of weeks ago I finished up shooting ET’s second set of panels. E is one of the cutest little chunkers I have had the joy of photographing. She got a bit bored with the original studio session, so we ended up having a second session on location. Her big brother and sister joined us for a few quick pics as well. Rebekah’s Senior Session Sneak Peek ~ Columbus, GA Senior Portrait Photographer

Today I shot a sweet Rebekah’s senior portraits up at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain. She was such a pleasure to work with, and I just couldn’t wait to get home and edit a few of her pictures. We had scheduled Rebekah’s session for a few weeks ago, but the weather forced us to reschedule. I was actually really glad we had to reschedule, because today was great! It was not hot at all, and it was overcast which us photogs love. Rebekah, thank you so much for allowing me to capture this special time in your life. Airport Photo Shoot

Last night I got together with a bunch of local photographers to do a group shoot. It was GREAT! We had a ton of models, a ton of fabulous cars, and even some sweet planes to photograph. Bright and Bo ~ Columbus, GA Children’s Portrait Photographer

I had a session with Bright and Bo last Saturday. Mom, Dad and I had all these lovely ideas and expectations for the session, but since Mr. Bo had just had shots that week, he had different plans and those plans did not involve my camera. We decided it was best to reschedule another session, so you will see more of these two cutie pies soon.
